British Radio Presenter Tim Gough Dies On Air During His Breakfast Show. It is with great sadness that we report the death of British radio presenter Tim Gough, who died on air during his breakfast show. Tim was a much-loved figure in the radio industry, and his loss will be felt by many.
Tim Gough was born in London in 1966, and began his career in radio at the age of 18. He quickly made a name for himself as a talented and entertaining presenter, and went on to host shows on some of Britain’s most popular radio stations. Tim was also a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s ‘Today’ program.
In recent years, Tim had been working as a freelance presenter and producer, and was currently hosting the ‘Tim Gough Show’ on local radio station LBC 97.3FM.
On the morning of his death, Tim was live on air as usual, presenting his show from 6am to 10am. At around 9am, Tim suddenly collapsed and began to convulse. His co-presenter Gemma Green immediately called for help, but unfortunately there was nothing that could be done to save him. Tim Gough was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death is not yet known, but it is believed that Tim may have suffered a heart attack. An autopsy will be carried out in due course.
